Faith lost in the battle of love. I had a crush on him since ninth grade. He also used to like me a lot. One day he came to me and told me that he loves me. I reciprocated in the same way as I had a liking for him. We started talking and dating each other. He was from a well to do family and I not so wealthy. We drew close to each other and thought of getting engaged. When he spoke to his parents, his parents told that he had to choose between his parents or me.
They did not want a person like me to stay in his life. He spoke to me about this and I told him it is his call. After a week, I got a message that I must move on and find someone better than him. He cannot lose his parents for me. Fair enough, I thought to myself. I lost faith in love but I am still waiting for someone who would prove me wrong. I broke up with him for sure but this made me stronger than before and not weaker.
